CMC Technology Group is a Maine owned and operated communications business that originated as "Central Maine Communications" a structured cabling company in 1995. In 1997 CMCTG gained its first affiliation with Sprint Products group and ActiveVoice voice mail systems. In 2004 and 2005 CMCTG acquired a number of communications companies including Taylor Networks, Integrated Communication Services and NorthStar Communications. Since then CMCTG has grown into a multimillion dollar company with over forty employees and three distinct lines of business, Telecommunications, Data Networking and Structured Cabling.


The communications industry is rapidly expanding and more and more businesses are in need of the technology as it becomes available, including new advances in telephone, voicemail systems, Internet access, as well as video conferencing and networking infrastructure.
